1. About SquadReg

SquadReg is a web-based football league management platform available at squadreg.co.uk. The platform allows grassroots football leagues and clubs to manage team attendance, fixtures, results, standings and match statistics.

By accessing or using SquadReg you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Accounts & Access

Accounts on SquadReg are created by league administrators — individuals do not self-register. If you have been given login credentials by a league administrator, you are responsible for keeping those credentials secure.

• You must not share your login credentials with anyone else
• You must not attempt to access accounts that do not belong to you
• You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack or disrupt the platform
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, without notice.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use SquadReg only for its intended purpose — managing football league and team administration. You must not use the platform to:

• Upload or share any content that is unlawful, offensive, abusive or discriminatory
• Harass, intimidate or threaten other users through the chat system
• Enter false or misleading data, including fake player names or fabricated results
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data
• Use the platform for any commercial purpose other than managing your own league or team
• Introduce malware, viruses or any harmful code

4. Player Data & Safeguarding

Many grassroots football teams include players who are under 18. By using SquadReg you agree to:

• Only enter the minimum data required (name, squad number, position) — no contact details, dates of birth or photographs
• Ensure you have appropriate consent from players or their parents/guardians before entering their data into the platform
• Comply with your club's or league's safeguarding policies at all times
• Delete player data from the platform when a player leaves your team

We take the protection of children's data seriously. Any misuse of the platform involving minors will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

5. Chat System

SquadReg includes a chat system for communication between team managers within the same league. By using the chat system you agree to:

• Communicate respectfully and professionally
• Not send spam, unsolicited messages or promotional content
• Not share personal data such as phone numbers or addresses of third parties without their consent

Site administrators can view and delete any chat messages. We reserve the right to remove any message that violates these terms.

6. Subscription & Payment

SquadReg operates on a subscription basis. Pricing details are available at squadreg.co.uk.

• The first month of any new subscription is provided free of charge with no card required
• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at signup
• You may cancel your subscription at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to active subscribers
• Refunds are not provided for partial months of service

7. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you enter into SquadReg. We do not claim ownership of your league data, team data or player data.

You grant SquadReg a limited licence to store and process your data for the sole purpose of providing the service. We will not use your data for any other purpose.

Upon account termination or cancellation, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow for export, after which it will be permanently deleted. Contact SquadRegUK@gmail.com to request a data export.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep SquadReg available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance, updates or improvements which may result in temporary downtime. We will endeavour to give advance notice of planned maintenance where possible.

We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by service interruptions.

9. Intellectual Property

The SquadReg name, logo, design and code are owned by SquadReg. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

SquadReg is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any loss of data, loss of revenue or indirect damages arising from use of the platform
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of data entered by users

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify active users of any significant changes by email or by displaying a notice on the platform. Continued use of SquadReg after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
